Local Band GB4 Added to Saturday's Festivities at Grainger Stadium

The Kinston Indians would like to announce that the local band Garage Band 4 will be performing at Grainger Stadium. GB4 will be providing the smooth sounds of the songs you love on Saturday August 27th. The band is made up of Tom Dobridge on the lead guitar/lead vocalist, George Hoff playing Bass Guitar, Kingsley Platts on Drums, and Steve Spencer on the Keyboards. " I grew up in Kinston and have fond memories of the Indians" said Platts. " I have a lot of Kinston High School class of 1982 traveling to see the game, it should be a fun time" added Platts. The Lynchburg Hillcats are in town to take on the Kinston Indians on Saturday Night. First Pitch is scheduled for 6:30pm.

The Kinston Indians will play in the final homestand of the 2011 regular season August 26th through September second. Giveaways, fireworks and special promotions are just part of the fun.
