B.C. Lions News Release
(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club is pleased to announce that ticket sales are brisk for this Saturday's game versus the Saskatchewan Roughriders and are on pace to exceed the 35,000 mark, making it the highest attended game this season.
The previous high mark this year came on August 19th when the Lions hosted 34,343 fans versus Saskatchewan and came away with a 24-5 win.
"We're thrilled with the response of our fans this week and this is really going to send us into the playoffs on a high note," said Lions president and CEO Dennis Skulsky. "Having clinched first place in the West Division three weeks ago, this kind of support speaks volumes about our fans as they continue to give us the home-field advantage leading into the playoffs."
The Lions are 14-1 at home since returning to BC Place in September last year and a win on Saturday would give the club its best regular season record since 2007 when they chalked up a 14-3-1 mark.
Tickets for the final BC Lions regular season home game slated for Saturday, November 3rd versus the Saskatchewan Roughriders at 7:00 pm are available by calling 1.855.GO.LIONS or visiting bclions.com.
The BC Lions host the Western Final on Sunday, November 18th at 1:30 pm. Tickets are available by calling 1.855.GO.LIONS or ticketmaster.ca.
