Lions Open Season with Annual Breakfast Blitz on Tickets

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club in conjunction with Global, TEAM 1040, The Province and Playland at the PNE are pleased to offer Lions fans a special ticketing offer for the team's home opener versus the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

On Wednesday, July 8thfrom 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. the Lions will roll out a one-time only, drive-thru ticket centre on the grounds of the PNE (corner of Hastings and Cassiar beside the roller coaster; enter via driveway off Hastings Street).

For just $40.00 (taxes included; cash or credit cards only), Leos supporters will receive two Bronze tickets to the July 10th home opener versus the Tiger-Cats, two gate admissions to The Fair at the PNE, plus free coffee, mini donuts and a copy of The Province! Members of the Felions along with Leo the Lion will also be on-hand Wednesday to meet fans.

"We are very excited about the 2009 season and I can't think of a better way to get things started than to have a capacity crowd on-hand to see us take on Hamilton," said Lions vice president, business, George Chayka.

For those unable to make it to Wednesday's Breakfast Blitz, the special offer will be also be extended to fans via the Ticketmaster website from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Fans can visit bclions.com on Wednesday, July 8th to link to the special Ticketmaster promotion (password: BLITZ).
