Lightning Recall Gabriel Dumont, Kristers Gudlevskis and Reassign Adam Wilcox

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled forward Gabriel Dumont and goaltender Kristers Gudlevskis from the Syracuse Crunch today, Lightning vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced. The team also reassigned goaltender Adam Wilcox to Syracuse.

Dumont, 5-foot-10, 190 pounds, has skated in 19 games with the Crunch this season, recording five goals and 10 points with a plus-4 rating. He had a hat trick and a four-point game on October 21 against the Utica Comets. Dumont has played in 408 career AHL Games with Syracuse and the Hamilton Bulldogs, amassing 97 goals and 213 points. Dumont has also played in 31 career Calder Cup Playoff games and scored eight goals with 11 points.

A native of Ville Degelis, Quebec, Dumont has played in 18 career NHL games, all with the Montreal Canadiens from 2011-15. He has registered a goal and three points.

Dumont was signed as a free agent on July 1, 2016.

Gudlevskis, 6-foot-3, 223 pounds, has appeared in 16 games with the Crunch this season, recording a 5-4-4 record along with a 2.82 goals-against average. He has played in 137 career AHL Games with a 64-41-16 record, a 2.78 goals-against average, a .901 save percentage and eight shutouts. Gudlevskis has participated in three career Calder Cup Playoff games. He was also selected as a 2016 AHL All-Star.

A native of Aizkraukle, Latvia, Gudlevskis has played in two career regular season NHL games, all with the Lightning, with a 1-0-1 record. He has a career goals-against average of 1.50 and a save percentage of .957.

Gudlevskis, 24, was selected by Tampa Bay in the fifth round, 124th overall, at the 2013 NHL Draft.

Wilcox, 24, was recalled by Tampa Bay on January 4 and backed up Andrei Vasilevskiy for three games. He has played in 20 games with the Crunch this season, posting a 13-5-2 record with a 2.55 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage. Wilcox leads Syracuse for wins, goals-against average, save percentage and shutouts with one. The South Saint Paul, Minnesota native has appeared in 49 career AHL games, all with the Crunch, with a 22-19-8 record, a 3.00 goals-against average and a .894 save percentage.

The 6-foot, 187-pound goaltender was originally drafted by Tampa Bay in the sixth round, 178th overall, of the 2011 NHL Draft.
