Lightning Recall Cedric Paquette from Syracuse

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled forward Cedric Paquette from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League today, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced.

Paquette, 21, has skated in four games with the Lightning this season, recording five penalty minutes. The 6-foot-1, 199-pound forward made his season debut with the Bolts on October 24 in Winnipeg. Paquette has skated in six career NHL games, registering one assist and five penalty minutes. He also appeared in all four of the Lightning's 2014 postseason games, recording a pair of assists to go along with 16 penalty minutes.

The Gaspe, Quebec native has skated in five games with the Crunch so far this season, posting four goals and six points to go along with a plus-8 rating. He leads all Syracuse skaters for goals and is second on the club for points. Paquette recorded a goal, an assist and a plus-3 rating against the Binghamton Senators on November 1. He is on a four-game point streak with the Crunch, posting four goals and three assists during that stretch.
