After a rainout last night, the first-place IronPigs (68-42) play a doubleheader to open of three-game series against the Syracuse Chiefs (46-64) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 6-4 win at Buffalo on Thursday, the Pigs took the five-game series at Coca-Cola Field, 4-1, and maintained their franchise-record 10.0-game lead in the North. Lehigh Valley has won 11 of its last 14 affairs and 20 of its last 26 contests. The Pigs, who are back to their season high-water mark, own a 39-16 record since June 3... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- defeated Pawtucket, 5-4, in 12 innings on Thursday to take the four-game series. The Chiefs have won six of their last seven contests after a 16-38 stretch from May 30-July 26.

In Game 1, RHP Tom Eshelman (2-9, 5.58) will start for LHV against RHP Phillips Valdez (3-7, 3.16).

In Game 2, RHP Enyel De Los Santos (9-3, 2.51) will start for LHV against LHP Logan Darnell (0-0, 10.80).
