Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
Following the All-Star Break, the IronPigs (40-51) play Game 1 of a four-game, road series against the first-place Rochester Red Wings (49-42) at Frontier Field... With a 4-0 win on Sunday in Pawtucket, the Pigs took the three-game series from the Paw Sox to reclaim sole possession of fourth place in the North Division. The surging Pigs have emerged victoriously in 11 of their last 14 affairs and 15 of their last 21 matchups with North opponents. In fact, Lehigh Valley is 19-10 in the last 29 contests after dropping 15 of 18 games from May 24 to June 11... The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- lost 4-1 in Syracuse on Sunday to split a four-game series against the Chiefs. The Red Wings are 12-6 over their last 18 contests since June 28, but that includes dropping a three-game series to the Pigs, 2-1, from July 4-6 at Frontier Field.
RHP Aaron Nola (3-0, 2.43) will start for LHV against RHP Tyler Duffey (3-4, 2.47).
