LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville Bats will host their second annual STAR WARS Night on Saturday, July 18 at Louisville Slugger Field as the team takes on the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. Gates for the 6:05 p.m. game will open at 5 p.m. and all fans dressed in a STAR WARS costume will receive a $3 discount on field reserved and premium seat tickets purchased at the box office.

Approximately 15 STAR WARS characters will be in attendance and available for photo opportunities with fans from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Hall of Fame Pavilion. Bats players will wear special edition Star Wars jerseys, modeled after Darth Vader's suit, which will be auctioned online at bats.milbauctions.com. The auctions will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21 until 10 a.m. and end on Tuesday, July 28 at 10 p.m. with all proceeds benefitting Kosair Children's Hospital. Fans attending STAR WARS Night may also receive a voucher for a free hot dog and small Pepsi for donating a new children's book to The UPS Store Toys for Tots Literacy Program.

The Bats will open their four-game series with the RailRiders on Thursday, July 16 with another locally famous $1 Budweiser beer happy hour from 5:30-7 p.m. featuring live music on the Overlook Deck by The Kitty Slickers. Friday, July 17 will feature the Bats' 2015 team photo giveaway, an appearance by Jake the Diamond Dog and Friday Fireworks. On Sunday, July 19 there will be the Inflatable KidsZone, Kids Eat Free during the game and postgame Kids Run the Bases.

Louisville then travels to Columbus for the first two games of a split four-game series with the Clippers, Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. After games at Huntington Park on Monday and Tuesday, the teams return to Louisville Slugger Field on Wednesday, July 22 and Thursday, July 23. That Thursday, the Bats will host another $1 Budweiser beer happy hour from 5:30-7 p.m. featuring live music on the Overlook Deck by J.D. Shelburne.

Finally, the First National Bank Triple-A All-Star Game, presented by Gildan will be at 8:05 p.m. tonight from Werner Park in Omaha, Neb. with coverage on MLB Network and 790 KRD. The Bats will be represented by second baseman Irving Falu. The Bats entered the 2015 All-Star Break at 45-47, third place in the International League West at 7.5 games back of the Indianapolis Indians. Three pitchers on Sunday combined for the team's first nine-inning no-hitter in franchise history in a 5-0 win over the Toledo Mud Hens at Fifth Third Field in the final game before the break.

The Bats have averaged 8,912 fans per game at Louisville Slugger Field since its opening in 2000 and have totaled over 9.4 million fans through 15 seasons.
