After a rainout in the series finale between the two teams on Thursday at Coca-Cola Park, the IronPigs (38-50) play Game 1 of a three-game set -- and Game 3 of a five-game, home-and-home series -- against the Pawtucket Red Sox (38-50) at McCoy Stadium... With an historical* 9-8, walk-off^ win in 11 innings on Wednesday, the Pigs have won nine of their last 11 games and 13 of their last 18 affairs against North Division opponents. In fact, Lehigh Valley is 17-9 in the last 26 contests after dropping 15 of 18 games from May 24 to June 11... The Paw Sox -- Boston's top affiliate -- have dropped a season-high, 10 consecutive games, their longest losing streak since a 10-game skid in 2009 (Aug. 12-20). In addition, the Sox are just 6-20 since June 16 and 20-40 since reaching their high-water mark of 18-10 on May 7... This marks these two teams' first meeting at McCoy Stadium this season.

In a battle of both system's Top Pitching Prospects according to Baseball America, RHP Aaron Nola (3-0, 2.28) will start for LHV against LHP Henry Owens (2-7, 3.42).
