LHP Caleb Frare reinstated off Triple-A Charlotte's injured list and transferred to Winston-Salem

The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:
- LHP Caleb Frare reinstated off Triple-A Charlotte's injured list and transferred to Winston-Salem
- LHP Taylor Varnell promoted to Winston-Salem from Low-A Kannapolis
- RHP Kade McClure placed on the injured list
Frare, who has pitched in five games for the White Sox this year, will be the second former big leaguer to don a Dash uniform, joining former Yankees pitcher Jacob Lindgren.
Varnell, who was drafted in the 29th round in 2018 out of Oral Roberts, posted a 3.23 ERA in 20 starts with Low-A Kannapolis.
Prior to hitting the injured list, McClure posted a 3.39 ERA in 12 starts for the Dash this year.
The Dash's current active roster stands at 25 players, the Carolina League maximum, with eight on the injured list. A new roster is attached.
