WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK (Lexington, KY) - Despite a strong showing on the mound by Daniel Tillo, the Lexington Legends fell to the Hagerstown Suns, 9-7. The Suns record improves to 4-11 and the Legends fall to 9-6.

Hagerstown plated a run in the first inning, similar to the first game of the series. Cole Freeman reached on a leadoff walk by Daniel Tillo and scored on a groundout to the shortstop by Yasel Antuna. The Legends answered in the bottom of the inning after Nick Pratto reached on a fielder's choice. An RBI double by MJ Melendez to left field scored Pratto, and the game was tied 1-1 after the first inning.

The Legends then went on to score three runs in the third. Travis Jones was hit by a pitch then scored on an RBI double to left field by Pratto. With Pratto on second, Dennicher Carrasco blasted his third home run of the season over the left field wall, putting the Legends up 4-1.

The Legends struck again in the sixth. Carrasco was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning then advanced to second on a throwing error by the pitcher, Jackson Stoeckinger. Carrasco then scored on an RBI single by Sebastian Rivero, further extending the Legends lead to 5-1.

The Suns began scoring again in the seventh inning. Kameron Estay reached on a one-out double, which was also the first hit allowed by Legends starter, Daniel Tillo. With Estay at second, Braden Boggetto doubled him home, cutting into the Legends lead, 5-2.

In the top of the eighth inning, Freeman reached on a lead-off triple for the Suns. Luis Garcia then joined him on the base path after drawing a walk. Freeman then scored on a wild pitch and the Suns trailed 5-3. Antuna then hit a double into right field, advancing Garcia to third. Garcia was able to score on a sacrifice fly to centerfield by Anderson Franco, and the Suns trailed by one run. An RBI double by Kameron Esthay tied the ballgame at 5.

The Legends regained the lead in the bottom of the eighth. A solo home run by Vance Vizcaino, his first of the season, put the Legends ahead, 6-5.

In the top of the ninth with the bases loaded, Antuna smashed a grand slam over the left field fence, and the Suns took the lead, 9-6.

In the bottom of the ninth, Lexington was able to plate a run with a bases loaded walk, but it wasn't enough as the Legends fell 9-7.

Daniel Tillo had an outstanding performance on the mound for Lexington. He tossed 7.0 innings allowing two runs on two hits while striking out two and walking three.
