The 25th Annual Triple-A All-Star Game, presented by the New Era Cap Company and the Buffa lo News is ONLY 12 DAYS AWAY -Wednesday, July 11 at Coca-Cola Field. With all the All-Star festivities just around the corner, the Bisons gave baseball fans even more reasons to attend the two marquee summer events of 2012.
Two days before the All-Star Game is the Triple-A Home Run Derby on Monday, July 9 at Coca-Cola Field, presented by Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel. Today, the Bisons announced how every fan who attends the Derby will have the ability to win amazing prizes from many of the team's great corporate partners, including a brand new car from Towne Ford Automotive.
The All-Star Home Run Derby will be broadcast live on Time Warner Cable SportsNet 13 and 713HD in Buffalo and will also be seen in many Time Warner Cable served cities throughout the country.
The Bisons have also announced that the first pitch baseball for the All-Star Game will be delivered pre game by the Frontier SkyDivers. Fans will be able to donate used phones to Cellphones for Soldiers, provided by AT&T, during the Home Run Derby.
Tickets Continue to Go Fast for Both All-Star Events
There are now LESS THAN 4,000 TICKETS REMAINING for the Triple-A All-Star Game and LESS THAN 5,000 TICKETS REMAINING for the All-Star Home Run Derby, which will now also include Buffalo Sabres forward PATRICK KALETA and former Buffalo Bills General Manager BILL POLIAN in the Celebrity Home Run Derby.

The package includes four tickets (Sections 123, 125, 126, 128), four hot dogs, four Coca-Colas and 15% off at Bisons gift shops at the All-Star Game for only $99.
Target Hunting: All-Star Sluggers Take Aim
The best sluggers from the International League and Pacific Coast League will not only be trying to hit home runs for themselves. The All-Stars will have 32 different targets or banners to shoot for, with each one representing a great prize to be won by either one fan, a section of fans or even every fan in attendance. Six-foot circular targets will be placed throughout the outfield, with a bulk of the signs being hung on the 40-foot screen beyond left field. Existing ballpark signage will also represent great prizes to be won. The grand prize of the night is a two-year lease to a 2012 Lincoln MKZ, supplied by Towne Ford Automotive. If the Towne Ford sign in centerfield is hit, one Bisons fan will be driving home very happy.

A fan will get a great All-Star souvenir with every home run hit during the All-Star Home Run Derby, whether it hits a target or not. With the lack of general seating areas beyond left field and centerfield at Coca-Cola Field, members of the Bisons will announce a lucky seat to take home an official 2012 All-Star Game Baseball after every home run that's hit.
The three sluggers from both the International League and the Pacific Coast League that will take part in the 2012 All-Star Home Run Derby will be named on Tuesday, July 3.
Kaleta, Polian Join Celebrity HR Derby
The Bisons have announced two additions to the Celebrity Home Run Derby that will take place in-between rounds of the Triple-A All-Star Home Run Derby. Buffalo Sabres forward and Angola, NY-native PATRICK KALETA will trade his hockey stick for a baseball bat on Monday, July 9. He will be joined by former Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts general manager BILL POLIAN. The Bills announced last month that Polian will be added to their Wall of Fame at Ralph Wilson Stadium during the 2012 football season.
Joining Kaleta and Polian in the Celebrity Home Run Derby are Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame Quarterback Jim Kelly, Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame Guard Joe DeLamielleure, Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson, Buffalo Bills Chief Executive Officer and St. John Fisher College Hall of Fame baseball player Russ Brandon, New England Patriots tight end and Williamsville, NY-native Rob Gronkowski, and writer, actor, sportscaster and Buffalo, NY-native, Nick Bakay.

Time Warner Cable SportsNet 13 will carry the live broadcast of the Triple-A All-Star Home Run Derby on Monday, July 9 (broadcast begins at 7:30 p.m. E.T.). "The Voice of the Bisons," Ben Wagner and Buffalo Baseball Hall of Famer Duke McGuire will be on the field to bring fans each and every home run that's hit.

Cell Phones for Soldiers
The Bisons have teamed up with AT&T to offer fans an opportunity to give back during at the All-Star Home Run Derby on Monday, July 9. Fans will be able to participate in the Cell Phones for Soldiers program as the Bisons and AT&T will place bins inside the concourse for fans to drop off any unwanted cell phones or cell phone accessories (including chargers, batters, and hands-free devices). Proceeds from the recycled cell phones are used by Cell Phones for Soldiers to buy calling cards for troops stationed overseas.
