
Lemurs Win Back and Forth Match

El Paso, TX - A tremendous Independence Day crowd of 11, 122 saw a slugfest tonight as the Laredo Lemurs outlasted the El Paso Diablos by the score of 9-6.
Everyone in the Laredo lineup had at least a hit with five hitters having multi-hit games. Lemurs 3B Garrett Buechele went 2-for-5 with four RBI while 1B Mike Sheridan had two hits in five at-bats with two runs scored and a RBI.
Laredo starting pitcher Greg Wilborn notched the win as he went five innings allowing an earned run on seven hits with five strikeouts.
The Lemurs will be in El Paso through Friday, July 5th. They will come back to Uni-Trade Stadium for an eleven game home stand that will see the Newark Bears, El Paso Diablos, and St. Paul Saints come to town starting on July 6, 2013.
