Almost there! Legion FC's biggest game to date kicks off tomorrow night, Wednesday, June 7, at 7:00pm at Protective Stadium and we can't wait! Wanted to pass along some pertinent information:

Legion FC got to this point, the quarterfinals of the oldest tournament in the country, the US Open Cup, by winning its first ever competitive game over a team from Major League Soccer (MLS), Charlotte FC, on May 24, 1-0. A Legion FC record 12,722 were in attendance at Protective to enjoy the win.

That being said, we're on track to smash the Legion attendance record tomorrow! General admission tickets sold out earlier today, and earlier this afternoon we'd already sold more tickets for this game than we did for the Charlotte game though kickoff. We expect a good number to still buy from now through walkup tomorrow. Tickets are still available at bhmlegion.com/tickets.

The Legion FC media entrance, where you can pick up media credentials, is marked by the gold star in the attached map. Please call or text me tomorrow with any issues or questions - 3347409986. I'm more likely to miss an email while running around on gameday.

Post game, we will host a press conference in the Protective Stadium press conference room on the South side of the stadium. All media are welcome.

For stations looking to get highlights out as soon as possible, we greatly appreciate you, and US Soccer has provided us with a link where in-game highlights will populate in minutes tomorrow night. Post game this link here will have four minute sizzle reels. Hopefully they're all Legion highlights!

The match will also air live, nationally, on the CBS Sports Golazo Network. Golazo is free to watch here.

For the W! Tomorrow is also a big day because Birmingham Legion WFC, the Legion Women's team that competes in the USL W League, will play its first home game tomorrow as well, kicking off at 3:30pm at Protective. A ticket for the BHMvMIA game grants you access to the WFC match beforehand. Gates will open at 3:00pm and remain open through the doubleheader. The 'Three Sparks' will battle South Georgia Tormenta FC, the reigning W League champs, but also the team WFC got its first ever win against last month! Find more WFC info here.

The WFC match will be live streamed, and the link will be up live on the front of the Legion FC Website by tomorrow afternoon!
