San Antonio FC Midfielder Rida Zouhir Named to USL Championship Team of the Week

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC midfielder Rida Zouhir has been named to the USL Championship Team of the Week bench, after scoring for the second-straight match in a 3-3 draw over San Diego Loyal SC.
Zouhir scored just his second professional goal against San Diego on Saturday, striking from a direct free kick in the fifth minute. Defensively, the 19-year-old midfielder made three tackles and a clearance in 58 minutes.
Zouhir makes it on the weekly list for the first time this season, becoming the 11th different SAFC player to earn the honors.
SAFC is at home this weekend to host Copa Tejas rival El Paso Locomotive FC. San Antonio currently trails El Paso by just two points for the second-most points in the USL Championship Western Conference. Kickoff from Toyota Field is set for 8:00 p.m. CT, with tickets available now at SanAntonioFC.com or the SAFC app.
