
Legends Split Series with Stockton

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends (11-10) dropped a wire-to-wire match against the Stockton Kings (14-7) 110-100.
Dane Goodwin grabbed the first basket for Stockton to lead a 7-0 effort before Texas hit the board. Greg Brown III knocked down back-to-back free throws to bring the Legends within three, but the visitors responded with a 9-0 run. With a seven-point difference to start the second, the Legends opened on a six-point streak but never managed to tie it up. Texas stayed within striking distance until the final two minutes of the half when Stockton extended the gap to double digits.
The Legends chipped through the third and found themselves within one again near the two-minute mark, but the Kings shut down the rally attempt with five late points from Jalen Slawson and Jordan Ford. The home team hit 42% outside in the fourth but couldn't pull through.
Jordan Walker led all scorers with 29 points while Olivier-Maxence Prosper added 22 points, 2 rebounds. Greg Brown III finished with 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks, and Theo Pinson added 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals, and a block.
Skal Labissiere led the Kings with 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists. Jalen Slawson and Colby Jones each neared a triple-double with Slawson grabbing 16 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 blocks and Jones tallying 15 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals. Jaylen Nowell came off the bench for 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.
