FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends, presented by Veracruz (visit Veracruz.mx), hosted the Idaho Stampede in their final game of the 2013-14 season. The Legends finished the season on a high note with a 133-124 win in front of a sold out home crowd.

The Legends sunk the first shot and held on strong, controlling all four quarters. After shooting 59 percent and outscoring the Stampede 32-19 in the first, the deficit grew to as many as 22 before the half. Idaho pulled within five with just under a minute to play but an untimely foul and an added jumper from Melvin Ely sealed the Legends victory.

PJ Hairston led the Legends with 33 points while Ricky Ledo followed closely with 26. Ely grabbed a game-high 15 boards and 25 points to be one of three Legends with a double-double. Jeremy Atkinson and Mickey McConnell followed his lead with Atkinson adding 12 points and 14 rebounds while McConnell dished out 12 assists and tallied 19 points. Vander Blue posted a season-high 34 points to lead the Stampede while Kevin Murphy added 31.

The Legends finished off the season celebrating "Zero Waste Night". Quest Resource Management hosted a pre-game tailgate and activities throughout the game including custom green jerseys worn by the team.
