Skyforce Tops 66ers in Overtime Thriller

Sioux Falls S.D. - The Sioux Falls Skyforce defeated the Tulsa 66ers 107-105 in overtime Saturday night in the regular season finale at the Sanford Pentagon. Sioux Falls trailed by as many as 19 in the contest, but came back at the beginning of the fourth quarter and won to clinch the fourth seed in the in the NBA Development League Playoffs.

Sioux Falls held Tulsa scoreless for five minutes and went on an 18-0 run at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Sioux Falls held the lead during parts of the fourth quarter including a six-point lead with one minute to go, but a Dominic McGuire 3-pointer with 17.1 seconds to go forced overtime.

Tre Kelley came up big in overtime for Sioux Falls and hit two 3-pointers with under one minute to go. Kelley's two-shot, six-point swing gave Sioux Falls the lead after trailing by four with 53 seconds to play. Kelley shot 5-of-7 from long range on the night and Sioux Falls was 50 percent from downtown.

Kelley's 31 points led Sioux Falls (31-19), and four other Skyforce players achieved double figures as Henry Walker notched 21 points, Larry Drew II and A.J. Davis both scored 12 and Craig Smith finished with 11. Walker achieved Sioux Falls' lone double-double with 10 rebounds.

Tulsa (24-26) was led by McGuire with 28 points and a game-high 17 rebounds. Xavier Alexander finished with 19 points and Chase Tapley came off the bench to score 18.

Sioux Falls will have homecourt advantage in the first round of the NBA D-League Playoffs and will find out its opponent and schedule on Sunday night.
