
Layshia Clarendon to Host Gameday Auction for Former Coach Kevin Morrison

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - Today Minnesota Lynx fans can bid on signed, game-worn and new Lynx items in support of guard Layshia Clarendon's former coach and longtime friend, Kevin Morrison.
Morrison was recently diagnosed with Stage 5 Early-Onset Alzheimer's at the age of 47. Morrison and his wife Heather have four young children, including a nine year-old and seven-year old triplets. Morrison was Clarendon's coach at UC Berkeley and the two have remained close through the years.
Bidding begins today at 9 a.m. CT at lynxbasketball.com/auction and will close at the final buzzer of tonight's game versus the Los Angeles Sparks.
The auction will benefit the Morrison Family Fund Grant, established by 4MOM, a charity that provides financial relief for caregivers and their loved ones living with Alzheimer's Disease.
