The Blue Crabs reclaimed the lead in the bottom of the sixth on a sacrifice fly from newly appointed captain Casey Frawley. In the top of the seventh inning, Lancaster tied the game though on an RBI groundout by Kevin Rivers scoring Kent Matthes. Lancaster would then go on to take the lead for the first time in the ballgame in the top of the eighth.
