Lars Eller Returns To Peoria

ST. LOUIS (November 13, 2009) - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has assigned forward Lars Eller to the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.

Eller, 20, scored his first career goal in his NHL debut on Nov. 5 vs. Calgary. He played in five games with the Blues, registering one goal and four penalty minutes. The 6-1, 198-pound forward has played in 11 games this season with Peoria, recording 11 points (three goals, eight assists) along with eight penalty minutes.

The Rodovre, Denmark native was originally drafted by the Blues in the first round, 13th overall in the 2007 Entry Draft.
