Machacek Re-Joins Wolves

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned right wing SPENCER MACHACEK (muh-HA-chehk) to the Chicago Wolves.

The 21-year-old forward was recalled by the Thrashers yesterday, but did not appear in their 5-3 defeat of the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden last night.

The Lethbridge, Alberta, native shares first on the Wolves with 10 points (3G, 7A) in 13 games this season. His seven assists rank second on the squad, while his three goals share fifth.

Last season, MACHACEK ranked second on Chicago and shared 14th among American Hockey League rookies with 48 points (23G, 25A) in a team-high 77 games during his first professional season. He also made his National Hockey League debut in two outings with the Thrashers.
