Brian Weiss plated Jager with a double to tie the score. Weiss scored to put the Rascals in front 2-1 on a sacrifice fly by Josh Ury. The Rascals made it 3-1 in the in the seventh inning. Chris Klosterman singled and went to second on a brilliant sacrifice by Joe Kalczynski. Matthew Gecan then singled home Klosterman to increase the Rascal lead to 3-1.
The Wild Things scored in the eighth to make it 3-2âbut their rally fell short. Blake Woods led off the inning with a triple and scored on a single by Josh Loggins. Kelly Johnson then earned the save by retiring the last five Washington hitters.
