Lancers Are Set to Clash Friday and Saturday Night Outside Wisconsin's State Capital

MADISON, WI. - The Lancers will take on an improved Madison Capitols club Friday and Saturday night. Since Madison re-entered the league in 2014, the Lancers have controlled the early going in this series, holding an overall record of 9-3-1-0. The Lancers will look to continue that trend this weekend in what could be a very pivotal opening week in November.

OMAHA VS. MADISON SO FAR

The Omaha Lancers will meet the Madison Capitols for a two-game stand this weekend. The only time these two teams will meet this season. Each team has gotten 43 power-play opportunities head-to-head since Madison came back into the league. However, just two penalty minutes separate these two teams with Omaha holding 137 minutes in penalties, and Madison holding 135. The Lancers have dominated Madison in the Shots On Goal category with Omaha accounting for 454 shots against Madison while the Capitols have registered just 367 shots against the Lancers dating back to their renewed series in the 2014-15 campaign.
