RALSTON, NE - In an effort to help further develop and foster the growth of hockey in the greater Omaha community, the Omaha Lancers will host a pair of summer youth hockey schools this June at Ralston Arena, the team announced Tuesday. Open to players 14 years of age and under, the week-long day camps will run from June16th to the 20th and June 23rd to the 27th, 2014.

"As an organization, we believe it's extremely important to do all we can to support youth hockey in Omaha," Lancers Owner, President & Managing Partner Ben Robert said Wednesday. At a cost of $350 per player, both camps will be held at the Lancers' facilities inside Ralston Arena and will feature two on-ice sessions per day, along with classroom instruction and daily, off-ice, "dry-land" training sessions. Campers will receive daily one-on-one and group instruction from the Lancers' USHL coaching staff, along with current and former Lancers players and special guests.
