Lancers Add Penney from Gamblers

RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers have acquired defenseman Cade Penney from the Green Bay Gamblers in exchange for future considerations.
Penney, a White Rock, BC native, is in his first USHL season. In the 14 games he's appeared in he has recorded two points and is a plus-6. Prior to his USHL career, Penney played in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) with the New Jersey Junior Titans. In the NAHL the defender played in 82 games and totaled 32 points. Penney is a product of the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers organization where he was teammates with Lancers forward Michael Cameron. Penney is committed to playing NCAA hockey at the University of New Hampshire. Cade will be wearing #10.
The Lancers will start the weekend series against the Sioux Falls Stampede tonight at 7:05 PM at Ralston Arena. Tickets are available at www.lancers.com.
