
Lancaster at Long Island Doubleheader Postponed

Thursday night's doubleheader between the Lancaster Barnstormers and Long Island Ducks has been postponed due to rain with play in the third inning of game one. There was no score.
No makeup dates have been announced. Lancaster does return to Long Island the weekend of June 21-23.
The teams got two innings of play in before a two-hour, 10-minute delay. Lancaster batted in the top of the third without scoring. Vladimir Frias was leading off the home third inning and had a count of 3-2 when play was halted again. The umpiring crew waited the required half-hour before play was called off for the evening.
Lancaster will open a three-game series against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs on Friday evening at 7:00. Buddy Baumann will be on the mound for the Barnstormers. Fans may tune into the Barnstormers YouTube Channel, beginning at 6:45.
