
Lakewood and West Virginia Rained Out, Resume Play Friday

LAKEWOOD, NJ - The Lakewood BlueClaws and the West Virginia Power had the first game of their 3 game series suspended due to rain on Thursday night. The game was 3-0 in favor of West Virginia with 2 outs and runners on 1st and 2nd Base in the top of the 5th inning.
On Friday the two teams will resume play at 6:00 pm and complete the rest of the suspended 9 inning ballgame from Thursday. Then, 30 minutes after the completion of that game, the 2 teams will begin play of a separate 7 inning game on Friday night. There will be fireworks following the 2nd game on Friday night presented by Toyota/Scion World of Lakewood.
Tickets for Thursday night's game can be exchanged for any remaining BlueClaws home game in 2011. Tickets for Friday are still good for Friday and may be used to see both games on Friday night. If you have any questions call the BlueClaws Front Office at 732-901-7000.
