YESTERDAY: The Lake Monsters rallied from a 6-3 deficit with 4 runs in the top of the 9th inning for a 7-6 win at Brooklyn ... J.R. Higley started rally with a 1-out triple and scored on a Sandy Leon RBI single ... Jack Walker followed with RBI single and Ronnie LaBrie RBI groundout to tie game ... Francisco Soriano gave Vermont lead with a RBI single ... Leon was 3-for-4 with 1 run and 1 RBI, while LaBrie had a 3-run triple in 5th inning that gave Vermont a 3-2 lead ... 9TH INNING RALLY: Vermont rallied from 3-run deficit in 9th inning last night for 7-6 victory ... It was 1st time that Lake Monsters have rallied from a 3-run 9th inning deficit since an 8-7 win over Lowell July 20, 2006 at Centennial.
LATE COMEBACK: Monday was just 2nd time this season that Vermont has won when trailing after 8 innings (2-18) ... The Lake Monsters never rallied from 9th inning deficit in 2008 and just 1 time in 2007 ... Vermont is also 2-20 this season when they trail after 7 innings and 2-18 when trailing after 6.
