LAFC travels to face the Portland Timbers on Saturday, Sept. 9 at Providence Park, in Portland, Oregon. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and 710 AM ESPN Los Angeles and 980 La Mera Mera (ESP).
The Black & Gold enter Saturday's match up ranked third in the West with a 11-8-7 (W-L-T) record with 40 points. The Timbers are currently 12th in the West with a 7-11-9 (W-L-T) record with 30 points.
Saturday's contest is the 18th meeting between the sides, and LAFC leads the series with a 7-5-5 (W-L-T) record. This season, LAFC defeated the Timbers 2-0 in their first regular season meeting on Mar. 4, 2023 at BMO Stadium.
