LAFC Loans Vassell to Phoenix Rising; Jakovic and Zelaya to Las Vegas Lights
The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) has loaned midfielder Peter-Lee Vassell to Phoenix Rising FC, and defender Dejan Jakovi? and forward Rodolfo Zelaya to Las Vegas Lights FC. Earlier this summer, Vassell represented Jamaica at the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup, appearing in two of the team's five contests.
Jakovi? joins Las Vegas Lights FC for the second time this year after starting all three games he appeared in for the USL Championship side in June. In his second campaign with LAFC, Jakovi? has played in three games (two starts), logging 181 minutes along the way.
Zelaya, who was initially signed to a two-year deal back in January, has one goal in four regular season matches (one start) for LAFC. He made his Club debut during the 3-0 win over Real Salt Lake in the Round of 16 of the U.S. Open Cup.
