LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy have signed Madagascar midfielder Rayan Raveloson, who joins after leading ES Troyes AC to the 2020-21 French Ligue 2 title this month. Raveloson, 24, has made over 150 appearances in France across his time with Troyes and Tours FC since 2014. Pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and ITC, he joins the club on a three-year contract with a one-year option and will occupy an International Roster spot on the LA Galaxy roster.
"Rayan is a talented, young and versatile midfielder who was a key player in leading his team to a title in France this season," said LA Galaxy General Manager Dennis te Kloese. "We think he brings a valuable experience and skillset to our midfield and will be a positive addition to our team. We look forward to him joining the club and his contributions to the LA Galaxy."
The Madagascar native has played professionally in France since 2014, collecting 151 appearances in all competitions across his time with ES Troyes AC and Tours FC - including nine goals and 10 assists - while featuring in Ligue 2, Coupe de la Ligue and Coupe de France competition.

In their most recent campaign, Raveloson appeared in 35 of their 38 games while helping lead his club to 77 points (23-8-7 W-D-L) and a 2.11 PPG as they scored 60 goals and conceded just 36 for a +24 goal differential.
A youth product of SS Jeanne d'Arc, the midfielder has also tallied 10 total appearances for the Madagascar National Team, including matches in the Africa Cup of Nations qualification and Africa Cup of Nations competition.
Raveloson signs with the LA Galaxy following the club's acquisitions of forward Augustine Williams (LA Galaxy II), defender Séga Coulibaly (AS Nancy), forward Kévin Cabral (Valenciennes FC), midfielder Victor Vázquez (free agent), winger Samuel Grandsir (AS Monaco), defender Derrick Williams (Blackburn Rovers F.C.), midfielder Carlos Harvey (Tauro F.C.), defender Oniel Fisher (free agent), defender Jorge Villafaña (Portland Timbers), goalkeeper Jonathan Bond (West Bromwich Albion F.C.), defender Marcus Ferkranus (LA Galaxy Academy), midfielder Adam Saldaña (LA Galaxy Academy) and defender Jalen Neal (LA Galaxy Academy) and the signing of goalkeeper Jonathan Klinsmann to a new contract.
