Notes:
- In the Round of 16 of the U.S. Open Cup, the LA Galaxy fell to the Portland Timbers at Providence Park on Wednesday night.
- With the result, the LA Galaxy are eliminated from the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
- In the Fourth Round of the U.S. Open Cup, the Galaxy earned a 3-0 win over Orange County FC last Wednesday at Dignity Health Sports Park.
- Midfielder Efrain Alvarez made his second-ever start for the Galaxy during Wednesday night's game.
- Forward Ethan Zubak earned his first start for the LA Galaxy on Wednesday. Zubak, an Academy product, has featured extensively for LA Galaxy II.
- The LA Galaxy are now 35-19-0 all-time in Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup play.
- The LA Galaxy have reached the U.S. Open Cup final four times, winning the tournament in 2001 and 2005.
- Last year, the Galaxy also fell to the Portland Timbers in the Round of 16.
- The LA Galaxy will resume MLS play against FC Cincinnati at 4:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, June 22 at Nippert Stadium (Spectrum SportsNet).
