
LA Galaxy Loan Defender Markus Ferkranus to Phoenix Rising FC for Remainder of 2022 USL Championship Regular Season

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy today announced that the club has loaned Homegrown defender Marcus Ferkranus to USL Championship side Phoenix Rising FC for the remainder of the 2022 campaign.
Ferkranus, 19, signed with the Galaxy as a Homegrown player from the LA Galaxy Academy on Jan. 22, 2021. The Santa Clarita, Calif., native has tallied one assist in 35 career appearances (20 starts) with LA Galaxy II. Ferkranus has made four appearances for Los Dos during the 2022 USL Championship Regular Season.
During the 2022 Concacaf U-20 Championship, Ferkranus made five appearances (4 starts) for the U-20 USMNT en route to helping his nation qualify for the 2023 U-20 World Cup in Indonesia and the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
