
LA Galaxy Host Real Salt Lake on Saturday

CARSON, Calif. (Monday, July 7, 2014) - The LA Galaxy (5-3-6, 21 points) face Western Conference rival Real Salt Lake (7-3-7, 28 points) at StubHub Center for Brazilian Heritage Night on Saturday, July 12 at 7:30 pm PT live on Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes.
The Galaxy are 10-11-6 all-time against Real Salt Lake and are 7-6-1 in matches played in Southern California. The Galaxy were upended by RSL in the first meeting of the season as Bruce Arena's side fell 1-0 on Opening Night March 8.
Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez returns to training this week after missing the last seven matches while with the United States Men's National team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Gonzalez started two matches for the U.S. as it advanced out of group play and into the knockout stage of the tournament. Gonzalez will go head-to-head with USMNT teammates and RSL stars Kyle Beckerman and Nick Rimando, who both returned to MLS action in RSL's 2-1 victory over the New England Revolution July 4.
