LOS ANGELES - With seven games remaining during the 2023 MLS Regular Season, the LA Galaxy play host to Minnesota United FC at Dignity Health Sports Park tonight, Wednesday, Sept. 20 (7:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV; LA Galaxy Radio, LA Galaxy Spanish Radio).
Tonight's match marks the 13th all-time meeting across all competitions between LA and Minnesota United FC, with the Galaxy leading the series 6-2-4. Against Minnesota, LA holds a 5-2-4 record in league play and a 1-0-0 record in the MLS Cup Playoffs. In five matches played at home against Minnesota, LA holds a 2-1-2 record. The last time the Galaxy defeated Minnesota United FC at home, LA earned a 3-2 win over the Loons at Dignity Health Sports Park on March 16, 2019.
Following the loss to LAFC on Sept. 16, the Galaxy's four-match unbeaten run came to an end and the club now holds a 5-2-6 record (25 GF, 21 GA) in their last 13 regular season matches played dating back to May 31. The LA Galaxy (27 GP, 7-11-9, 30 PTS) enter tonight's match in 13th place in the Western Conference standings and six points behind the ninth-place Portland Timbers (29 GP, 9-11-9, 36 PTS) with two games in hand.
