LA Galaxy Continue Preparations for Home Opener

CARSON, Calif. (Monday, February 24, 2014) - The LA Galaxy continue its preparations in advance of the club's 19th MLS season this week with a closed-door scrimmage against North American Soccer League side Minnesota United FC at StubHub Center on Saturday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. (PT). The Galaxy will enter its eighth preseason exhibition after defeating USL PRO affiliate club LA Galaxy II 3-0 last Saturday thanks to a brace from Robbie Keane and a goal from Samuel. With 12 days remaining before the start of the 2014 MLS campaign, the LA Galaxy currently boast a 5-1-1 preseason record.

The Galaxy will host Opening Night against Real Salt Lake at StubHub Center on Saturday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m. (PT) live on Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes. 

LA GALAXY PRESEASON SCHEDULE

The LA Galaxy will play a series of preseason friendlies in addition to a number of closed door scrimmages in the build-up to the 2014 campaign. 

Saturday, March 1: LA Galaxy vs. Minnesota United FC (closed-door scrimmage) - 7:30 p.m. - StubHub Center

Saturday, March 8: Home Opener - LA Galaxy vs. Real Salt Lake - 7:30 p.m. - StubHub Center
