
Kyle Middleton Named Texas League Pitcher of the Week

Wichita, KS â Kyle Middleton was named the Texas League Pitcher of the Week for May 23-29, 2005, it was announced today by Texas League President Tom Kayser.
Middleton went 2-0 in two starts with a complete game. He struck out seven over 16 innings of work, allowing only one earned run (two total) on eight hits and four walks.
Kyle currently leads the Texas League in innings (73.0) and ranks third with his 2.59 ERA. His six wins put him in a three-way tie for first in the league.
This is the second time this season that a Wrangler has received this honor, as Shawn Sonnier won the award last week.
