September 20, 2022 - Western Hockey League (WHL) - Kelowna Rockets News Release
Kelowna Rockets goaltender Jari Kykkanen and defenceman Noah Dorey have both been returned to the Rockets from their NHL rookie camp invites.
Both were invited by NHL teams after going undrafted in the 2022 NHL Draft, Kykkanen attended the Florida Panthers camp while Dorey was invited by the Edmonton Oilers.
Dorey attended Edmonton's development camp this past July after going undrafted in the 2022 NHL Draft. Last year he was invited to the Boston Bruins development camp last fall after going undrafted in the 2021 NHL Draft. Netminder Talyn Boyko (New York Rangers) and centreman Colton Dach (Chicago Blackhawks) are the only two remaining current Rockets players away at NHL camps.
