
ICE Acquire Arp from Medicine Hat

The Winnipeg ICE have acquired forward Steven Arp from the Medicine Hat Tigers in exchange for a conditional ninth round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft.
Arp, 18, from Swan River, Manitoba, registered nine points (three goals and six assists) along with 24 penalty minutes in 50 games last season with the Tigers.
Prior to that, over two seasons in the Manitoba Under 18 AAA Hockey League with the Parkland Rangers, Arp registered 53 points (29 goals and 24 assists) in 55 games.
With the addition of Arp, the ICE active roster currently includes three goaltenders, seven defencemen and 12 forwards.
Winnipeg opens the 2022-23 WHL regular season schedule Saturday night in Brandon against the Wheat Kings (6:30 on CFRW 1290 AM, WHL Live on CHL TV).
