Krog Assigned to Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Mighty Ducks were assigned center Jason Krog by the NHL Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on Tuesday.

Krog, 27, has not appeared in a regular-season game with Anaheim this season. The 5-foot-11, 191-pounder had 26 goals and 36 assists in 64 games with Bridgeport of the AHL last season. He also played two games with the New York Islanders, going scoreless.

A native of Fernie, British Columbia, Krog won the Hobey Baker Award as the nation's top collegiate player in 1998-99 as a senior at the University of New Hampshire. He was signed by Anaheim as a free agent July 17, 2002, after spending his first three professional seasons in the New York Islanders organization.
