FRIDAY IS FIRE SAFETY NIGHT
Friday, Oct. 18 will be Fire Safety Night. All children 14 and under will receive a Fire Safety Multi-Media Packet, compliments of Toyota. Each packet contains an audio cassette tape, videotape and coloring book. The American Red Cross' Fire Prevention Unit will be set up in the concourse and an Emergency Response Vehicle will be parked outside the First Union Spectrum. The American Red Cross will also provide giveaways throughout the game and their mascot Fred Cross will be in attendance. In addition, the Washington Township (N.J.) Fire Dept. will have two fire trucks outside the Spectrum, a display on the concourse and their mascot Sparky the Fire Dog on hand.
UPCOMING PROMOTIONS
The first 2,500 adults in attendance on Friday, Oct. 25 will receive a monthly pocket calendar, courtesy of Penn Orthopaedics. Celebrate Halloween with the Phantoms on Sunday, Oct. 27 with the annual Spooktacular. The first 1,000 kids will receive a Phantoms candy bag that can be used for trick-or-treating on the concourse before the game. A Halloween costume contest will also be held on the ice during the first intermission.
CN8 TO TELEVISE FRIDAY'S GAME
Friday's match vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at 7:00 p.m. will be televised live on CN8, the Comcast Network. CN8 is airing a total of 11 Phantoms games throughout the 2002-03 season. The CN8 broadcast team will once again feature Tim Saunders, Orest Kindrachuk and Mick Moninghoff.
PINKSTON TO DROP OPENING PUCK
Philadelphia Eagles starting wide receiver Todd Pinkston will be on hand this Friday to drop the opening puck before the Phantoms host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Pinkston is in his third season with the Eagles after a stellar career at the University of Southern Mississippi.

LISTEN TO "RUMBLE WITH THE PHANTOMS" EVERY WEDNESDAY
The Phantoms and WNJC (1360 AM) are proud to announce the return of the "Rumble with the Phantoms" show every Wednesday from 4:30-5:00 p.m. Hosted by Tom Shaw, the show will feature a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways.
PETERS TO VISIT HMS SCHOOL
Defenseman Dan Peters will visit classes at the HMS School for Children with Cerebral Palsy this Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 2:15 p.m. as part of the school's 2002-03 Guest Readers Program.. The visit will give the kids an opportunity to interact with Peters, while learning through reading books. Peters will also bring along pucks, skates and sticks for the children, allowing many of them to see and touch the equipment for the first time. The HMS School is located at 44th Street & Baltimore Ave. in Philadelphia.
FIRST ONLINE AUCTION ENDS THURSDAY
The first bi-weekly online auction of the 2002-03 season will be ending on Thursday night, Oct. 17. Log on to www.phantomshockey.com to place your bid on Mark Greig and Kirby Law's game-worn, autographed road jerseys from last season, as well as a ticket package to the Oct. 25 game that includes four ice row tickets, a tour of the First Union Spectrum and an opportunity to watch warm-ups from the Phantoms bench.
MEET THE TEAM PARTY SET FOR OCT. 21
Mark Monday, Oct. 21 on your calendars, as the entire Phantoms team and coaching staff will be at Dave & Buster's to meet the public. A special meet & greet in the Showroom with season ticket holders will take place from 6:30-7:00 p.m. before it opens up for everyone from 7:00-8:00. Dave & Buster's is located at 325 N. Columbus Blvd. in Philadelphia.
PHANTOMS PLAYERS AT SKATE ZONE ANNIVERSARY PARTIES
Phantoms players will be signing autographs and meeting the public at each of the Flyers Skate Zone anniversary parties this fall. Wade Skolney, Ian Forbes and Matt Zultek appeared at the first event on Sept. 28 at the Polonia Bank Flyers Skate Zone in Northeast Philadelphia. The Sovereign Bank Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, N.J. will hold its party this Sunday, Oct. 20, while the Sovereign Bank Flyers Skate Zone in Pennsauken, N.J. party is set for Sunday, Nov. 3. The anniversary parties also include games, prizes, face painting, public skating and much more.
LIVE BAND IN BULLIES EVERY FRIDAY
Stick around after every Friday home game to hear the Delaware Valley's best and brightest bands perform live inside Bullies Sports Bar & Restaurant. Sound Advice will be the featured entertainment this Friday, Oct. 18.
FOOSBALL TOURNAMENT STARTS OCT. 25
Budweiser will be sponsoring a foosball tournament in Bullies before every Friday night home game this season. Starting Oct. 25, two-person teams will compete from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Each winning team will receive two tickets to the Phantoms' final regular-season Friday game on April 4, so they can compete in the final round that night. The champions will win a free foosball table, as well as a Phantoms Fantasy Pack that includes game tickets, dinner in Bullies and the opportunity to watch pre-game warm-ups from the bench.
NEW GAMES IN BULLIES
In addition to the great food, drinks and entertainment at Bullies, several new games have been installed for everyone to enjoy. STUDENT TICKETS JUST $8 ON WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS
College and high school students with valid student IDs can attend all Phantoms games on Wednesdays and Fridays this season for just $8.
