
Koshwal's Triple-Double Leads Jam Past D-Fenders

EL SEGUNDO, CA - Mac Koshwal registered a triple-double with 14 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists as the Bakersfield Jam (20-9) earned a 112-100 road victory over the Los Angeles D-Fenders (9-20) Saturday night.
The Jam raced to an 11-0 lead to start the game and finished the first quarter with a 24-16 advantage. Los Angeles outscored Bakersfield 33-31 in the second quarter and trimmed the Jam's double-digit lead to six points at the break (55-49).
After leading the entire first half, Bakersfield trailed for the first time at the 8:04 mark (59-58) of the third period, but would close out the quarter leading 79-77. In the final frame, the Jam shot 66.7 percent from the floor, compared to the D-Fenders' 40.9, and outscored Los Angeles 33-23.
For the second straight game, Phoenix Suns assignees Archie Goodwin (28 points, 12 rebounds) and Reggie Bullock (25 points, 10 points) each recorded a double-double. Casey Prather (13), Jamil Wilson (12) and Jerel McNeal (12) also scored in double-figures.
The D-Fenders were paced by Vander Blue (26 points, 7 assists) and Jamaal Franklin (21 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists). Jabari Brown tallied 15 points.
Bakersfield will travel back home and host the Santa Cruz Warriors on Thursday, February 5 at 7:00 p.m. PT.
