Knights to Honor Military Families on Sunday, May 27

(Fort Mill, SC) - The Charlotte Knights, the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, are set to host two Military Appreciation nights during Memorial Day weekend at Knights Stadium. Since Sundays are Family Days at the ballpark, the Knights would like to honor Military families on Sunday, May 27.
As part of the Knights in-game entertainment on all of the Military nights, the club will feature photos of Military members on the stadium video board during its pre-game festivities and this time, the Knights would also like to honor a select number of Military families before Sunday's game.
If you have a family member that has served, or is serving in the Military, the Knights would like to hear your story. In 75 words or less, share with us your experiences of being a Military family and the sacrifices that your family has made for our country. Along with the essay, fans are encouraged to send a photo of their family for display on our in-stadium video board. All essays must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 25 to community@charlotteknights.com. We will notify the winners by Friday at 5:00 PM.
The winning families will receive a Military Family Four Pack, which features four tickets to Sunday's game, a ceremonial first pitch for one of the family members and four Knights Military t-shirts.
First pitch of Sunday's game is set for 7:15 p.m. and the Knights will host the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies). Gates open at 6:00 p.m.
