Sudbury Wolves News Release

It was Max Domi and the London Knights hitting the ice Friday night at the Sudbury Arena to take on the Sudbury Wolves. The London Knights outplayed the Wolves and held nothing back as they skated away with a 10-2 victory over the home team.

The Knights came out hungry in the first period scoring six goals on 17 shots. The Wolves ran in to penalty trouble and could not contain the Knights. AARON BERISHA opened the scoring for the Knights. MAX DOMI added two goals, MITCHELL MARNER, CHRISTIAN DVORAK, and JOSH STERK all added to the mix to take the 6-0 lead after 20.

The Wolves showed a bit of resilience in the second and third periods, however things did not get much better for the Wolfpack. The Knights continued to pile on goals from RYAN RUPERT, and CHANDLER YAKIMOWICZ. Both JOSH STERK and CHRISTIAN DVORK added their second goal of the game to bring London's scoring total to 10. The Wolves found the net two times on the power play with goals from DANNY DESROCHERS and JACOB HARRIS but it was far from enough as the Wolves fell by a final score of 10-2 with shots on goal 27-27.

Wolves Goaltender TROY TIMPANO left the game after the first period and didn't return.

The Wolves will look to put this game behind them as they visit the North Bay Battalion on Sunday at 2:00pm and Oshawa Generals on Monday at 2:00pm. Fans can follow the Wolves on the road by tuning into the live play-by-play on KFM 95.5 or watch on Eastlink TV, Channel 10.
