London Knights News Release

LONDON, ONTARIO: The London Knights will charge into Stratford, Ontario this coming weekend as the Huron Perth Lakers AAA Minor Hockey Organization, in partnership with the Stratford Cullitons Jr. B Hockey Club, proudly hosts an OHL Exhibition Game. On Saturday, September 13th, the London Knights and the Erie Otters will battle it out at the historic William Allman Memorial Arena (15 Morenz Drive, Stratford, Ontario). The puck drops at 7:00pm with doors opening to the public at 6:00pm. Following the game, the entire London Knights team will be available to sign autographs and meet those in attendance on the upper level of Allman Arena.

This exhibition game will serve as a fundraiser for the Huron Perth Lakers Hockey Organization. The Lakers are made up of seven teams plus a Major Midget Jr. Cullitons AAA team. The Lakers zone AAA draws players predominately from Huron and Perth Counties. The AAA program was established in 1996 out of a need to provide a higher level of hockey in the region. Notable Alumni include the 2014 Lady Byng Memorial Trophy winner and current Colorado Avalanche forward Ryan O'Reilly and Washington Capitals' goaltender Justin Peters.

Fans looking to attend the game and show their support can do so by purchasing a $10 ticket at the door of Allman Arena on Saturday, September 13th. Tickets are still available for sale. Don't miss your chance to see some great OHL hockey right in your backyard while helping to support local hockey programs.
