Knights Begin Homestand Tomorrow

The Charlotte Knights begin an eight game home stand Saturday night with four games against the Rochester Red Wings, the Minnesota Twins Triple-A affiliate. The following is the Knights promotional schedule for the upcoming home stand.

Saturday July 31st - The Knights start a four game series with the Rochester Red Wings, first pitch will be at 7:15 PM. Come and enjoy the best fireworks display in town sponsored by Bank of America, NewsTalk 1110 WBT, Time Warner Cable and Carolina Weekly Newspapers. It is also Weddington Community Night, residents can present a valid ID at the Box Office and receive a Lower Level Reserve Ticket for just $9. The first 1,200 kids 18 & under receive a FREE Knights Baseball Cap sponsored by TRU and Time Warner Cable.

Sunday August 1st - Bring the entire family out to enjoy the summer sun and baseball on our BB&T Family Sundays. Kids, don't forget to join Homer and Caroline after the game to run around the bases brought to you by Discovery Place.

Monday August 2nd - Bust your Bellies! Please join us for our All-You-Can Eat Buffet and catch the Knights live in action at 7:15 PM. The best deal in town- Just $19 for Adults and $14 for kids.

Tuesday August 3rd - Receive a lower level reserved ticket and food voucher (hotdog, chips, & soft drink) for just $12! Escape from work and enjoy the afternoon as the Charlotte Knights wrap up the series with the Rochester Red Wings at 12:15 PM. Package must be purchased in person at the Knights Box Office. Show your BI-LO Bonus Card at the box office and get 2 tickets for the price of 1, valid for any level of seating. Limit one free ticket per BI-LO Card. Buy 1 Ticket, Get 1 Free from KRAFT Singles with purchase. Bring your package wrapper to a Knights Game on Tuesdays for a steal of a deal! KRAFT Singles presents "Run for a Single!" The fun continues after the game, as kids come down to the field to run a single and high-five Charlotte's most loved Mascot Homer the dragon!

Thursday August 5th - The Knights start a four game series against the Toledo Mud Hens, the Detroit Tigers Triple-A affiliate. Prior to the Knights 7:15 PM game, fans can register for the Charlotte Knights Cornhole Tournament for $25. Participating in the tournament includes a ticket to that evening's game and the winner of the tournament will receive $250. It is also a Hickory Tavern Thirsty Thursday with beer and soda available for just $1.

Friday August 6th - Following the Knights 6:15 PM game with Toledo fans can see a post-game concert from Building 429 featuring Mikeschair. The concert is presented by New Life 91.9 & New York Life. Special group discounts available for church, faith, and youth groups. Call 704-357-8071, ext. 2106 for group discounts and packages. The first 2,000 kids entering the gates will receive a Homer the Dragon Posters presented by Levine Children's Hospital and Time Warner Cable.Gates open early at 5:30 PM.

Saturday August 7th - The first 1,000 kids entering the gates for the Knights 7:15 PM game against Toledo will receive Homer the Dragon Lunch Boxes presented by Horizon Eye Care. There will also be another great post-game fireworks display presented by Bank of America, NewsTalk 1110 WBT, Time Warner Cable, and Carolina Weekly Newspaper.

Sunday August 8th - The Knights will conclude the home stand with a 2:15 PM game on a BB&T Family Sunday. Kids can run the bases after the game presented by Discovery Place.
