
Knighthawks to Hold 1997 Jersey Auction on Hall of Fame Night

(Rochester, NY)... As part of Hall of Fame Night festivities, the Rochester Knighthawks will hold a 1997 replica championship jersey auction to benefit CURE Childhood Cancer Association on Saturday, January 31st. The silent auction will include jerseys for inductees Paul Day, Duane Jacobs and Tim Soudan. Fans can also bid on jerseys for current Knighthawks John Grant and Gary Gait, and past Knighthawk and current Head Coach Paul Gait.
Further, the team will hold an autograph session at the end of the game on the turf, which will feature the Hall of Fame inductees, and past and present Knighthawks players and coaches. Former Knighthawks attending the event include Tom Emmick, Jeremy Hollenbeck, Pat McCready, Bill Meagher, Randy Mearns, Matt Riter, Shawn Wilkins, Casey Zaph and former trainer Alan Freedman.
The alumni will celebrate the first class of the Knighthawks Hall of Fame, which will feature former Head Coach Paul Day and forwards Tim Soudan and Duane Jacobs. The evening is sponsored by CURE Childhood Cancer Association and IKON Office Solutions.
The 7:35 p.m. game will be broadcast live on WYSL 1040-AM and wysl1040.com. Fans can watch the game live online via the NLL Network at NLL.com.
