Knighthawks Bring Back Jordan Hall

The Rochester Knighthawks continued to make moves prior to the 2014 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft. This time, the three-time defending NLL champs acquired transition man Jordan Hall from the New England Black Wolves.

"It feels great (to be back)," said Hall. "It's one of the best organizations in the league."

The seven-year pro returns to Rochester, where he won a Champion's Cup in 2012. In return, the Knighthawks send their 11th and 28th overall selections in tonight's 2014 NLL Entry Draft to the Black Wolves, along with their first-round selection in the 2015 Draft.

Hall rejoins the Knighthawks after playing the past two seasons with the Philadelphia Wings. The Vancouver, BC native notched 34 goals, 42 assists and 95 loose balls with the Wings in 2014. This summer, he was a key member of Team Canada's gold-medal winning effort at the FIL World Lacrosse Championships.

Hall spent two seasons in Rochester and recorded 25 goals and 46 assists in 22 games from 2011-12. In 2011, he was honored as the winner of the NLL Sportsmanship Award. From 2008-10, the 30-year-old Hall played for the Titans organization (New York/Orlando). In 2010, he was named a Second Team All-Pro and led all transition players in assists with 58, finishing fourth overall in the league in the category. The former first-overall pick was named to the 2008 NLL All-Rookie Team. In his career, Hall has collected 138 goals, 275 assists and 565 loose balls in 100 games.

Hall's resume also includes a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2011 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championships. He represented Team Canada at the World lacrosse Championships, winning gold in 2006 and silver in 2010.

In the field game, he has won two Major League Lacrosse titles, capturing the 2008 title with the Rochester Rattlers and the 2009 crown with the Toronto Nationals. Before turning pro, Hall had an outstanding collegiate career at Delaware (2004-07), where he started 63 of a possible 68 games. He was named an All-American as both a sophomore and a senior. He was also named to the Colonial Athletic Conference All-Conference team three times and was CAC Player of the Year as a sophomore. Hall finished his career as Delaware's scoring leader among midfielders with 140 career points (85+ 55).

The Knighthawks will now have five picks in tonight's NLL Entry Draft. The 2014 NLL Draft will air live on and on YouTube via The Lacrosse Network (, starting at 7:00 p.m. from the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC) in Oakville, Ontario.

The Knighthawks will open their 21st season on Saturday, January 3rd against the rival Toronto Rock at The Blue Cross Arena.
