
Kinston Goes for Sixth Straight Win Tonight in Frederick

High Five- Kinston has won a season-best five games in a row following Friday night's 6-1 win over Frederick. Kyle Bellows hit a two-run single in the first, and Karexon Sanchez hit Kinston's first grand slam of the season in the second. Rob Bryson picked up his first win for the Indians and Cory Burns earned his first save. The Keys were just 1-for-13 with RISP and stranded 12, which matched a season high for Kinston pitching. K-Tribe pitching also tied a season best with 16 strikeouts.
Laying Low- Kinston's pitching staff continues to lead the Carolina League with a 2.74 ERA. That ranks second in all of baseball behind Class A Savannah. K-Tribe pitching leads all of baseball with a staggering .213 opponent batting average.
